Day-by-day itinerary
DAY 1
Delhi to Manali (overnight)
Board the Volvo or Tempo Traveller in Delhi in the evening for the roughly 540 km overnight drive via Chandigarh, Bilaspur and Mandi.
DAY 2
Arrive Manali, local sightseeing
Reach Manali in the morning and check in. After rest, visit Hadimba Devi Temple, the Manu Temple and the Vashisht hot springs, then spend the evening on Mall Road. Overnight in Manali.
DAY 3
Solang Valley, Atal Tunnel and Sissu
Drive to Solang Valley for the ropeway and seasonal snow activities, then continue through the Atal Tunnel to Sissu in Lahaul for the waterfall and Chandra river views. Return to Manali. Overnight in Manali.
DAY 4
Naggar and Old Manali
Morning trip to Naggar Castle and the Nicholas Roerich Art Gallery, then a free afternoon to walk the lanes and cafés of Old Manali. Overnight in Manali.
DAY 5
Kullu and departure
Check out after breakfast. Stop at Kullu shawl factories and the Beas riverside (rafting optional, season permitting). Board the overnight Volvo or Tempo Traveller to Delhi in the evening.
DAY 6
Arrive Delhi
Reach Delhi in the morning. Tour ends.
A straightforward Manali holiday with the travel taken care of. You leave Delhi in the evening, wake up in the Kullu valley and spend three nights in Manali with breakfast and dinner included. Days are split between the town sights — Hadimba Temple, Vashisht and Old Manali — and the high country around Solang Valley and the Atal Tunnel, before an overnight journey back to Delhi.
Departure point: Ex Delhi (Delhi to Delhi). Evening pick-up from Majnu Ka Tilla / Kashmiri Gate; reporting time is shared 24 hours before departure.

Is it a Volvo or a Tempo Traveller?
Groups of up to 12 usually travel in a Tempo Traveller; individual travellers and couples are booked on an overnight Volvo. The itinerary is the same either way.
Will we see snow?
Fresh snow is likely at Solang and Sissu between December and February, and often at higher points into March. In summer you will see snowline views from Atal Tunnel and Sissu.
