DAY 1
Arrive Leh
Airport pick-up and rest for acclimatisation. Short evening walk to the market if you feel well. Overnight in Leh.
DAY 2
Leh local
Shanti Stupa, Leh Palace, Namgyal Tsemo, and the monasteries of Shey and Thiksey. Overnight in Leh.
DAY 3
Sham Valley
Hall of Fame, Gurudwara Pathar Sahib, Magnetic Hill, the Indus–Zanskar confluence and Alchi or Likir monastery. Overnight in Leh.
DAY 4
Leh to Nubra via Khardung La
Cross Khardung La to Diskit Monastery and the Hunder sand dunes. Overnight in Hunder.
DAY 5
Turtuk
Day trip along the Shyok river to the Balti village of Turtuk. Overnight in Hunder.
DAY 6
Nubra to Pangong
Drive via the Shyok road to Pangong Tso. Overnight in camps at Pangong.
DAY 7
Pangong to Hanle
Along the lake via Man and Merak, then Chushul and Tsaga La to Hanle. Overnight in Hanle.
DAY 8
Hanle to Tso Moriri
Morning at Hanle Monastery and the observatory viewpoint, then drive to Tso Moriri. Overnight in Korzok.
DAY 9
Tso Moriri to Leh
Return via Mahe and the Chumathang hot springs to Leh. Overnight in Leh.
DAY 10
Departure
Drop at Leh airport. Tour ends, or continue with extension days.
Ladakh rewards travellers who give it time. This 10-day base plan begins with two easy days in Leh to acclimatise, then loops north over Khardung La to Nubra and Turtuk, east to Pangong, south along the Chinese border road to Hanle, and back via Tso Moriri. It can be extended up to 16 days for Zanskar, Umling La, a trek or an overland exit.
Departure point: Ex Leh. Pick-up from Leh airport on Day 1; drop at Leh airport on the final day. Flights from Delhi are not included.

How does the 16-day option work?
The base plan is 10 days. Extensions add days for Lamayuru and Zanskar, Umling La from Hanle, the Markha valley trek, or a road exit via Kargil and Srinagar or via Sarchu to Manali.
