FAQs

Common questions

Answers to the questions we get asked most about our Himalayan tours.

How far in advance should I plan a trip?

For peak departures such as summer Spiti and Ladakh, winter Spiti, and Kinnaur in apple season, we recommend enquiring 4–6 weeks ahead. Shorter Himachal getaways such as Manali, Kasol, or Jibhi can often be arranged with 1–2 weeks notice.

What is the typical group size?

Most journeys run as small groups of 6 to 12 travellers. Private departures for families or groups of friends can be arranged on request.

When is the best season to travel?

It depends on the route. Ladakh runs May to September and the full Spiti circuit mid-June to mid-October, while winter Spiti departures run December to March. Kinnaur is best in spring and autumn, and the Himachal hill stations such as Shimla and Manali are open year-round. We advise the right window for each itinerary.

What is your cancellation policy?

Cancellations more than 21 days before departure are eligible for a partial refund after non-recoverable costs. Closer to departure, refunds depend on confirmed bookings for stays and transport. Full terms are shared at the time of enquiry.

Are the trips suitable for high-altitude travel?

Yes. Itineraries build in gradual acclimatisation days on high routes such as Spiti and Ladakh, and we share a fitness and preparation note before you travel.

How do I confirm a trip?

Send us an enquiry over WhatsApp with your dates and group size. We confirm availability, share a detailed plan and costs, and hold your booking once you are ready.
